It supposadly has a "secret" or , " hidden" effect, I'd hang on to them untill Blizzard releases information , or it just becomes public.

Yeah, i dont know what it really does but thats what i hear. I remember when they first started popping up people went crazy trading for these things when they didnt even know what the standard of heroes did.
