I lost my account with basically the perfect hammerdin on it like three hours ago to the ****ing blizzard warden. However, i still have my main account left with a good 40 high runes and 200 high runesworth of items on it.

So far, diablo 2 has been crumbling since the 1.11 patch. I got back from 1.10, there were very few godly people compared to 1.10. This made trading much harder and made people raise the prices of pretty much everything they had. Also, many of the diablo2 users had no idea of the new currencies, back in the 1.10 patch people priced things in high runes. Now that very few people have mass runes, trading has become very inconsistant and people are now starting to try and price things in sojs, making everybody want sojs... what it boils down to is people dont' know what anything is worth.

Now, once the maphacks are gone and accounts are being banned, people who find items legitimately are going to be extremely cautios with there items, there are going to be little to no truely godly characters anymore.

Personally, I liked 1.10 how it was and how trading was easier. The currency was more straightforward and didn't change constantly. Blizzard says that by them banning people using maphack it makes it fun for all users. Thats totally not true. Back in the 1.10 patch 60%+ people used maphack. It simply makes the game better.

Reply and tell me what you think is happening to diablo 2.

I have to say that i disagree with You.
1) Pricing things in HRs. Well, from what I gather, on the US ladders, about 99% of the HRs are duped. This leads to them poofing all the time. That is not fun. People don't actually find all that many HRs in their lifetime. On Europe ladder, they are still 4.5 Ists each.
2) If everybody is godly, the game is just going to be extremely boring.
3) I prefer the idea of trading things for stuff other than HRs. Otherwise uniques they get completely neglected.
4) I have been playing without maphack since I got banned with the first wave of Easymap bans. I now have a level 94 Druid, and there is no way that I'm going to risk him. The game is not that bad without Maphack, take my word for it.

I agree with the fact that the patches were bad in some aspects. I liked the idea of how they made the game much, MUCH harder in 1.10, but creating the Dclone system in order to get rid of extra sojs was just stupid. Nowdays, it is SO hard to get an anni in Europe, because we don't have many dupers selling sojs.

About 1.11, it is way too easy to get the torch.

In conclusion, the anni is to difficult to get and the torch is a child's play, meaning that the market has been flooded with torches and no annis.

Also, the fact that You can't put them in the trade window. mad:
