Silly question about running Nilithak

As mentioned above, yes the portal goes away. The way I just handle this is the fact that I don't use the same char for mf and key runs. I have a lightning sorc or someone like that whom I use for key runs (their pretty good for all 3 key areas because countess is just cold+fire immune), and then for mf runs i'll use a cold sorc or whatever. Therefore, I won't care about loosing the portal for the light sorc (and i just grab the halls of pain WP), and i'll keep the portal open for the mf sorc so she can include Pindle in her mf runs.

Edit: I just saw what you posted, and as stated in my post just grab the Halls of Pain WP or something and you can run Nithalak all you want. As you do his runs you'll find the patterns in the mapping and beable to more quickly figure out where the next level could be.
