I've Got This new story I'm kind of working on and it sounds kind of stupid to me but I was wondering what some of you guys thought of the idea. Its about this man who is your everyday normal man, with a slight abnormallity,(maybe not so abnormal really) he is really into doing drugs. But after a bit he starts seeing wierd paranormal sh*t, thats totally bringing him down.

totally lame...

The length of the story depends on what aspects are going to be present. If this is a short about a man with issues and the paranormal, then you can not put much detail into it. A longer story, however, can be divided into chapters that you can work on sparingly and then release when you are finished. This also allows you to go further into detail and develop a more complex plot and climax. It is also a good idea to look around and find what people are interested in; people will not even bother to read your story if it does not apeal to them. Not everyone is going to read and/or like it anyway, but the're cynics so it's not entirely their fault. The poit is to make it apeaking to the majority and the reader, no tjust yourself.
