What Armor for Bramble?

Here is my dilema. I am about to trade for an Ohm rune and I want to use it so it doesn't poof on me. I figure the best way to use it quick is put into some armor to make Bramble. What's the best armor to use? I figure I will either put it on a merc or my Summon Druid (don't rag on the druid, he sucks but I like to watch him). I might make a summon necro too. I don't have any other HR so making another runeword really wasn't and option. And I hate trading, so if someone wants to make me another offer for the Ohm, let me know. There are still a few items I would like that I can't seem to find.

I see most people using chainmail but thats up to you

If your going to use it later on not on your merc, even though you are going to use it on him now, eaither get a DS or AP.

Yeah if you are using it/trading use it on an armor with low STR. If you are keeping it then it's your choice =/ but i perfer Wyrmhide or Arhcon Plate...
