View Full Version : Retard>Wal Mart
Ok ... I was playing Halo2 and I forgot were I left the cd. I searched for about a week and I said **** it and bought a new Halo2 from the local Wal Mart store.
After playing Halo2 for 2 Days ( new copy) I found my original. So I found my reciept and I drove down to Wal Mart to return my Halo2. I walk up to the lady ( she was so nasty looking she had a mole the size of a peporoni)
and she asked if I opened the game. I said I did, and she tells me I cant do anything but give you another Halo2 copy.... What the **** is the point?!
I mean I have a Brand new Halo2 copy and the ONLY thing they can do is give me another Halo2? WHY not even store credit!!! WHY THE **** DO YOU HAND OUT RECIEPTS IF YOU CANT GIVE ME MY DAMN MONEY... O well only 30 dollars I just ****ing wanted a new belt..
**** Wal Mart... Next time Ill go the extra 2 miles to Game Crazy
Hmmm Just remembered my School has a Gaming Club.. Im sure one of those nerds will buy my halo2 for 25 dollars.. ****

If you open a game you cant return it...maybe the lady didnt know what she was saying. Next time go to block busters and buy a used halo 2 for 10bucks..its alot cheaper.
Well Im sorry that is MILES away from me... And Game Crazy did not have a Used Halo2 :(
But its all cool Ill get my cash or Ill just hustle..
Hhehe Go to FoodMaxx buy crap load of Snickers, Skittles etc etc for 35 cents and sell it for a dollar... yeah I used to do that Freshmen year.. I would get about 20-25 Dollars a day :D
or not buy one at all until you find your old one, its way cheaper
i thought it was pretty much common knowledge that you cant open computer software/cd/ or dvds and expect to return it
No way I have done it so many times with PC games!!! I bought about 8 Diablo2 and returned them .... Hmmm maybe that Mole Lady was just a ***** the other ones always let me return my games..
and I mean I HONESTLY thought I lost my halo2.. I searched for it .. didnt find it so I got a new one.

I don't think you can get anything but another copy for any games. Should have tried going to game stop. At least one near me they always say if your dissatisfied with the game at all you can return it for credit.

walmart has no reason to return your money and they're not obligated to under the excuse that you could be burning the games. they're not catering exclusively to gamers and wont lose much if you never buy a game from them again. they got your money and they arent giving it back

Well now you can't return more than three items for a certain period of time, like 6 months. They do that because people make counter-feight receipts and it makes them some extra money, when you can only return 3 items and the pack of cheese you bought was already opened and didn't realize that until you got home, do you really want to return it? It's only three dollars and it would suck to return 3 cheap items and then not be able to return the 50 dollar game that you got for christmas that you already own. Walmart=****face

My friend bought a PSP from Wal-Mart and 2 weeks later the motor went out. It took them like 2 hours to figure out what it even was lol. Then that night we went to Circuit City after he got his money back so he could get a new PSP and he bought Gangs of London with it... GoL was not in the case and it took him 3 weeks to get a new copy of that from Circuit City. Long story short, Wal-Mart and Circuit City suck.
@Pam dont tell me to get a job. pfft I still want to be free
I dont need money my dad pays for everything I need
Oh yeah and I got my 25 dollars :) I sold that game :D WoOoOt
Actually tuesday i returned a Mp3 player that i bought last saturday. but electronics are ok to return aslong as you have a receipt and return them withen 15 days. im actually willing to bet that over the customer service counter there is a 30x30 poster that specifically says what you can and cannot return.
500$ dollar bet there isnt lol
Not at this Wal Mart

OK. Next time take the exchange, then you have a new un-opened game for your opened game, go back later and "return" you un-opened game. End of shady deal. Oh, and just get a job and clean your room. smartass2 If you picked up after yourself, you probably would have found the game sooner!

It is common knowledge, practically every store has that policy.
Wtf do you think Wal-mart can do with a opened CD, especially when there is software and hardware out there made specifically for the duplication of CD/DVDS? Heck no they wont take it back, no exceptions, it would be a major exploit. Plus you could mod your Xbox, copy the game to a hard-drive, and play it for eternity off of the hard drive.
