:( :( :(
i just got the biggest tear in my eye and feel like the biggest ass hole on the planet..confused:
ive been DYING to see pearl jam in concert for over 12years, ive logged on the site weekly to see if they would ever play around my small part of ohio..
a few weeks ago i noticed they were playing in cleavlend on may 20th, so i decided right then in there im driving 12hours to see them in cleavlend..i called all my dudes and said there finnaly playing!!!! so everybodys stoked on it even if it is months and months away..boom i just logged on the site to check THE DAMN TOUR DATE FOR CLEAVLEND WAS CANCELED!!!! now i have to call everybody and try to explain there not coming...its hard, i had this vision in my head that i was gonna get backstage with eddie vedder and all this time..ive dreamed of this for so long only to have it crushed in my face...
i feel like the band ive followed for so long is too good to play here:(
you may think this is funny but ive lived music for so long and to have my all time favorite band cancel when im about to see them hurts so bad..
well, time to make some phone calls to some soon to be angry people..
i had EVERYTHING READY!!! i asked random ass people if tehy wanted to go see pearl jam with us on may 20th...there in europe ALL OF 2007!!! god i thought i finnaly had a break..sorry, im litterly crying now and the beers not helpin...

I know how you are feeling dude,as I have had numerous people in small towns complain of EXACTLY what you are going through.I am sorry this happened to you and your friends.I truly hope that in the future you can see Pearl Jam,they are one of my favorites and I listen to them on a daily basis. No need to be ashamed of feeling dissapointed,or that you are *Emo*
You are simply frusterated and sad.

12 hours from any part of Ohio to Cleveland? What are you "driving"? A bike? Skateboard? It's 12 hours from where I live in Georgia to New York. Don't worry about it dude, they'll come around one day. Also if you are willing to drive 12 hours to a concert then I don't see where the problem has been in the past. 12 hours from Ohio is like anywhere on the east coast and midwest.

its prolly not 12hrs, im just really drunk and rambling on i guess..kinda helps that 5 of the people i was going to the concert with all showed up at my house with a case of beer each after i called them..im so pissed off right now though its sad, this is truly the first time in my life where ive been so mad i could hit anyone of my friends, speaking of which i almost hit my buddy ryan with a snow shovel for sayin pearl jams not that great anyway lol, i just hate how around here when something tight like that comes along they decide to go to a place with more people for more money..if they only knew the kind of set up we got out here, and how many people would really go to it..for example: our spot to party, a big ass barn with 8 sets of speakers, a sterieo, tons of cars with at least 12s in them, alot of beer, alot of extra money, and alot of ppl..its not uncommon to have 100-250 people over all wanting one thing..to SEE THE DAMN BAND LIVE! one more thing before i stop this post and go finish drinkin and smokin
1.TAP, damn right bro, thats the kind of shit i was lookin for, horse=****i** gay, ---beer, music, friends all we need to rock the fuc* out.
2.Pam, i think i love you j/k, pearl jams bad ass, and im not *emo* i actually hate emo **** with a passion lol,>>i know of many dudes on d2 and around towns here who get the same problem as me, and thank you for noticing this, helps so much to hear people agree with us.
3. Fuggle, ive been waitin for them for so long dude, i kinda think that they will never come around here, the closest i actually got to seing them was in orlando florida, when me and a bunch of my dudes were gonna road trip down to see them. never happend because of a hurricane that week, show got canceled, ( i just checked to be more accurate its 5 1/2 hrs from here to there :D )
thanks alot for every1 thats posted so far, helps me so much to know u guys actually care about what happend to me, even if you may not understand, this was very important to me and i could not wait for it,DAMN i wanna see them so bad it hurts :/ well im gonna get off this comp, got a few ppl w8n for me outside, and another case of coors light callin my name
Thanks again so much everyone

You are welcome hun.I did not mean that YOU were an *Emo* I worded that quite poorly. I only meant that your distress over it all made you a bit emotionally upset. This magnitude of a *let down* Would cause Jesus to cry! (No Grave I am not speaking of you)

I live in Wichita, Kansas... Wow, I am 3 hours away from OK City and KC. It sucks we never get concerts here. Best concerts I have seen in Wichita are Anthrax and Alice in Chains. We get like 1 decent concert per year. It's not small town but its definetely not city. Welcome to the in between that is the midwest eh.
^well he has to drink along the way, so he has to do jail time along the 12 hours :)
ROFLF LMFAOLO LOL
thats ****ing gay dude!! I missed out twice at my fav band cuz i had no freakin cash and all the ****ing ppl i knew were too ****ing gay to want to come along :( i get ya man
the very same thing happened to me when H.I.M had their U.S tour, i bought the tickets, called 20 or more friends, we were all stoked and things, and the tour was cancelled, now their playing in the U.K. and i don't think i have a chance in hell of getting to the U.K. so i know what your going through
when the hell isnt a band cancelled? personnaly im looking forward to seeing RAW.

bands always cancel around here.. the number of good bands playing decrease little by little every year..
like 3 years ago i went to 20 concerts, 2 years ago 10 concerts, last year 8 concerts, this year only 5. they just stopped playing around here :/
pearl jam canceld and started a europe tour, goin to like madrid, venice etc..
cause those places are way better to get people to come?
w/e i dont understand sometimes
