Here in Central Pennsylvania, we had about 4 inches of snow, a little ice, an freezing rain. They closed schools now, 2 days in a row...over FOUR inches of snow. How bad/good is it where ya'll live?devilish:

A little cool here, just broke 41, but sunny. Gotta love FL. I don't miss all the snow and work that went with it when I lived in NH.

Lol in south africa its 30degress Celesius
in wisconsin its like 5 - 0 degress celsius.
f = 9/5 c + 32 so
9/5 of -5 = 9 degrees. so subtract maybe 1 or 2... this was for frogman
otherwise my temp is between -20 and 20 degrees Fahrenheit. in Greenbay, Wi

Actually, its 8/5ths, not 9/5ths. Hes saying its about 100F degrees there, I believe.
Remember water boils at 212 F and 100 C, so you can always check your method with that.
no it isnt. physical science basics. its 9/5. look it up again. hes actually saying its 86 degrees

Hmmm your right, funny, I was still able to convert 100 to 212 with that equation.
How to approximate the conversion of Fahrenheit temperatures to Celsius with mental math.
Subtract 32o to adjust for the offset in the Fahrenheit scale.
Divide the Celsius temperature by 2 (multiply by 0.5).
Take 1/10 of this number (0.5 * 1/10 = 0.05) and add it from the number above.
Example: convert 98.6o F to Celsius.
98.6 - 32 = 66.6
66.6 * 1/2 = 33.3
33.3 * 1/10 = 3.3
33.3 + 3.3 = 36.6 which is an approximation of the Celsius temperaturehttp://www.321know.com/mea414x3.htm
W/e we are getting off topic so lets go on.
yeah but celsius units increase alot more than F
between freezing point and boiling point of water is 212 degrees fahrenheit
however its only 100 with celsius.
so take 30 degress celsius.
9/5 * 30/1
cross cancel 5 and 30 (divide by 5)
so then its
9/1 * 6/1 = 54 + 32 = 86.
but to get back on conversation, we had more cold than snow. the we got a heat wave. so it was 1 day off with -30 F then 2 hour delay with -10 and then nothing else because of our heatwave. we probably only have about 4-6 inches and the most we had might of been 8 inches.
