New rules for Steam Room approved by the following:
Giant-Douchebag
Pamela
Fleaflickerx
Fuggle
Written by Giant-Douchebag, edited by mods as they see fit.
These Rules Are Simple:
- No creating threads with the sole purpose of flaming a specific user on the forums. I.e. Creating a thread named Spitfire.
- You may swear etc in this forum but keep in mind using profanity proves the inability to express ones self properly.
- Try not to spam! Spitfires original Rules.
Additional Rules
No ****
Posting of **** will equal as an advertisement warning.
No Flaming of another person due to their Ethnicity or Religious Affiliation.
Will be treated as a Flame would be outside Steam Room.
Posts MUST be legible.
Spelling and grammar may be off, but it has to be in reason. No massive “1337” speak unless meant as a joke.
Example of an acceptable post
the point of forums is freedome to speech and all that junk, but spam is what messes it all up. If we could just talk and respond without all the unnecessary spam, we might just have a good website. BAN ALL SPAMMERS PLX
However, this post is very close to being unacceptable.
Example of a shitty post that WILL BE WARNED!
b4cks33t modding is like a citiz3ns 4rr3st, taking responsibiity to do what is right even if its not your jeb, which isnt realy all tht bad, is it?
This post not only has bad grammar, but it also has poor spelling, and a sad attempt at 1337-ness. It would most likely be warned.
Direct Flaming of another member is ALLOWED.
They may be a regular member, or a Mod. It does not matter. HOWEVER! If you and the person you are flaming go back and fourth an unreasonable amount of posts in a row, without any input from other members, a Mod has the right to break up the fight.
ALL MODS ARE HELD TO THE SAME STANDARD AS REGULAR MEMBERS!
If a mod flames a member, don't get your panties in a bunch, they have every right that you have as a member of this site. They do not get special treatment though, they must adhere to the rules just like anyone else.
Sorry if it looks shitty, Open Office hates me.
