help with the d/l's

here is a "?" that could be considered a newb "?" or a stupic "?", but item packets that are on the dl section are they usable on closed or what? i need some stuff for trading but i have never used hacked stuff b4, if u can use them on closed then does the readme tell how to incorporate them into my closed char files or what? thanks in advanced for not flaming me too much!!!

the items dont work on closed they work on open battlenet.

i know you already got my pm tying ya for the info, but ty again, at this point i guess my question is are there ne sites (that arent trojans) where i can get some item packs? that work on closed, i know they are there but i just dont know where
