exit diablo ii

how do you exit diablo without letting people see:(example name, john)

john(john)Left our world. Diablo's minions weaken.

because i see many people do that on purpose to exit games.
can anyone tell me how?

it always does shows your char name and account name when you exit. unless you work and blizzard and are very smart i doubt u can figure out how to just leave without any notice

you can't do it purposly, not that I know of, if the person all the sudden vanishes out of the game without any body noticing that means they dropped...

if they dropped it still says they timed-out
