Need Merc Help

I need a meat sheild type merc for my soc, every merc iv used so far has died straight away... im using a cold soc so i dont need a freeze merc .. what items and merc do u recomend?

nah nothing beats the ETH BOTD GHOST SPEAR with a nightmare merc from act2
(MIGHT MERC)with 16060ias no life or with life preferably lol if ur rich enough or bramble in what ever armor u fancy i fidn those rule and enigma that s ownds aswell on might merc bcos the more skill + items u have the mmore might dmg it adds and with shako enigma and or delerium man with the botd eth ghost sear and stuff man he dus like almsot 6k dmg :D awsome ha shako +with some kind of good jewel either 40 15 rainbow facet with psn or a good resistance jewel :D:D or a rune if ur l337 like me bahaha

eg my might emrc lvl 89 hes got around 6.3 k dmg and hes using enigma*whyrmhide shako*BER* or vamp gaze *40/15* and eth botd ghost spear 3 % off perfect :D :eek: and man dus he ownd :) and fast :P

so yeah feell free to question tihs make up for a good allround merc for any characters but

i can say one thign for necros,, definatly a rogue merc with either WF 40/15 or a high ed ias jewel or BOTD crusader both with shakos ber or 40/15 and 16060 ias again or enigma they pwdn aswell bcos theyer so fast to atck form the necro teleportign with eniigma and shit so yeah
