This question may sound a little strange, however, it seems that I have noticed a greater amount of power, damage, defense, resistance etc. associated with legitimately developed chars as opposed to editor created ones. That is, all things being equal, if you were to develope from scratch a certain level char under normal game play, and then, create an identical char, same level, stats, skill assignments and body items and charms, that the legitimately developed char somehow seems to be better, more effective and powerful. I understand that theoretically , the two identical chars should be the same, but I believe that I have repeatedly noticed significant performance differences between the two. Has anyone else observed this phenonemon?

logic.

i think blue means that an editor created caracter would be missing some life, resistences and a few skill/stat points due to quest rewards. what this stuff about rare candies?

Some things I guess are meant to remain mysteries.

errr...do u mean like on open or single wise? cuz editors dun work in close u kno...
and if u do make them identical the chances are they are goin to b identical...

and teh rare candies are these thingys that lvls ur pokemons automatically. meaning 1 lvl everytime it is used.

It's because, say with zonfire, your legitamate character is say.. level 80, and then if you create a character and just edit it to level 80, you don't get the extra +life or +mana you do if you actually leveled it up.. Another reason may be if your created character didn't do all the quests the legitamate character did, you could be missing some skills, stats resistance, life, etc.

That rare candy cheat was the best! I once got a character to lvl 99 without the cheating, It was much easier than lvl 99 on D2.

That's the only thing I can figure also Siluru. I was trying to be careful to add all of the extra quest rewards that one would normally attain , but even if you did that; there must be inherent advantages to normal legit progress. I know that life translates into stamina later on, and with Blizzard dilerberately leaving so much to the imagination, to be discovered, I would not be a bit surprised if there were some sort of boolean logic synergies at play behind the scenes. Whatever is going, I know that two of my friends have said the same thing to me repeatedly over the years and it just seems extremely coincidental that these observations keep resurfacing. Thanks for you input. Bluesky
