best pvm char?

Hi,

I've just started playing d2 again and therefor I need to make a new char.

I haven't played in a while so I don't know mutch about what happended with 1.10 and all.

Therefore I want to ask you guys:

What is the best PvM char, concidering I don't have mutch gear it has to be as cheap as possible.

I need to use it for mfing, but i also have to get throug the game with it. (Im sure i can get some help in centain areas tho)

well if u want a mfer/pvm id go with a blizz sorc although it will be hard in he-l mode because of all the cold immunes u can probably just get rushed through that though

Yes, I would go with the sorcs, seeing as how they are the best for mf, and good at PvM.

if u wanna try out a char that isn't one of those already listed, u can always try a concentrate barb. he'll probably end up having more defense then any of the necros or sorc's already said, and while his attack may not be as strong as them, a big difference from 1.09 to 1.10 is that they made monsters tougher and stronger, and defense has become important in the virtual world of Diablo 2. plus you'll be party friendly with your BO, and a good thing is that if u are in a baal run, all you have to do is just BO the sorc that is tele to throne, then just sit and wait until its throne time. (thats the most annoying part for me that if u are a sorc ppl expect u to tele in a baal run).

If you're playing on battle.net realms, I really recommend a blizzard sorc. They can really do it all: rush, mf, and pk.

Blizz sorcs aren't as cheap as say...summoner necros can be to be effective, but I used to be poor too. Once you get a skin of the vipermagi, the rest will eventually come naturally. Skins are not expensive at all. In fact, someone in the forum might give you one for free if you asked.

However, if you are playing single player, then it's very different. Blizz sorcs cannot make it through hell solo.

On single player, the easiest way to get through whole game is with a summoner necro. In 1.10 skeletons are actually pretty durable, and you can use them to get through hell with a act 2 might merc. Hammerdins and javazons will also work.

He said he could get help with specific areas, so I assume he can get a friend to help him out with cold immunes.

Hmm.. I would have to go with a hamerdin, seeing as they own any monsters and u can rush with vigor and do pindle as well (if u cant afford enigma). Also i am not forgeting the merc of a Blizz sorc, but mercs cost more than anigma if u want him to PWN (and lets not forget u have to lvl him, dear god)

A hammerdin with good gear and 15k hammers owns pvm so easy. But if you can't afford to suit one up, I'd say a zealot with not terrible gear. Try to stay away form elemental unless it's mf, in that case use sorc.

i have a hammerdin that doesnt have enigma hoto.. dude i do 7 k with my mf shit on i have around 300 mf and i find nice shit.. in hell my hammerdin has max res... hammerdin stuff aint that expensive unless its an enigma or a hoto...

nah no doubt pb necro can still rape all monsters in any level so even if u cant get engima and the top items meh u still get good dmg just try get hold of a pair of marrowwalks :P and a shako and ud get heaps of dmg just form those :P

ie my necro uses teeth in all levels hes only lvl 85 but he has around 3k teeth dmg so i can jkill anythign in hell with jus tteeth its ***in wicked :D

yeah enigma is heaps better and cta helps out a bit in hell act5 but meh teeth > all monster no matter what then i use spear on baal hell :P hes weak *** **** and those black soul things dont evn hurt me at all if i put tgods on lmao :P
