question about JHJ pickit

How do i set it so it doesnt pick up rare elite weapons rare jewels rare ammys and rare rings, and possibly large charms

Well, i havent used jhj in a while, but if im correct, Top left is uniq, top right is rare, bot left is set, bot right is misc, and all the way bottom is extra (for the pickit). Go to your Extra and delete all of that and then go to your Rare section and put in only ring n ammy. Works for me
