So this is supposed to be a great game yet very few people have even heard of it or played it. I heard of it from a friend that has it but I have never played it. He seems to enjoy it though.

So what is the story plot for the game? Is it RPG or what?

its a real time RPG thats 2 disks long with a max lvl of like 250 with a large assortment of characters to choose from

i traded in my x-box for the new PS2 on saturday and my god is it ever small it looks like an over sized psp

well it starts out that you need to save your parents and your "girlfriend" but you yourself on stranded on a primal planet with now way off.then you get off that planet and onto a planet that is in the medeval times (which most of the game takes place). Then later there is a major plot twist, of course. I wont spoil the game, but depending on what chars you use and how you treat them in dialog will depend on the ending movies scenes.

but seriously the game ****ed me over when two of my main chars are unusable and the friggin base dm is 200 on the char that i kept....
im totaly ****ed when fighting security for the first time i guess i should have lvld up a whole lot more but wtf new chars start off at lvl and there so strong for that stage in the game my first try olny got me 1 kill -.-

I'm not sure your post made much sense. =P there is a part in the game before you leave the planet where you can go to any char you want. like roger, albel (who i choose), the... damn cant think of her name.. the chick that uses the daggers, and the sameri guy. you can only take one of these chars with you. I think when you say you got your ass kicked is when you landed on moon base? That area is a toughy as all teh guys are a big jump. especially since i chose sophia as my mage and you just get her in your party and she is lvl 1.... and they are like vl 50.

Anyways what characters did you lose?

nel and albel i got the ****ing furrie ax thing and screwed since i havn't tried to fight them on plant styx but whats the point fayt and cliff die faster than a slug and salt and marle is lvl 35 and fayt and cliff are 26ish
yet again i forgot about the battle trophies so bah T-T

Well you have to keep fate so lvl him up. then use cliff till you get the samuri guy (if you want to use him) otherwise you can only keep nel OR albel. to keep nel at a cetain point (i cant remember when, i think its sometime around when you fight that huge ass dragon) you need to go to the old guys mansion in kersola (something like that) then go to his office and a scene where he and nel are talking about nels father will activate. then he will give nel her fathers daggers (the are of ice). (the old guy is the guy who released albel after you talk to the king and queen in the mosel dunes). To keep albel (at the same point in time as you would for nel and the others) instead of talking to the old guy goto paterny (shit i cant remember the exact spelling of these places, its the middle town whre you first meet amena). the go sleep ant the inn. then a scene at night is triggered and albel will try but not really kill you. he then asks you if you hate him or not. I think you choose no i dont hate you and then you will get him when you leave the planet.

Now if you don't do any of these things i believe nel is the defualt, unless you make roger join you when you fist meet him in the forest and then i believe he becomes the defualt. Who ended up getting shot and go with you when you left? Also you'll probably have to start over if you are that week on styx. those guys are hella tough., especially thoughs flipping angels when they do that circle shit that hits both your hp and mp. Not i always have at least 1 rejuv symbol (heals mp periodicly) on.

ok i did the nel dagger shit and i never used rodger once or even had a scene other than the side quest i didnt do but still that ****ing sucks oh well i need to get the trophies again and i really did skip alot of shit so meh time to rm the game -.-

now excuse me while i get a hammer to "fix" my star ocean cd .... and my ps2 cuz im not pissed at all...

Is it like most of the realy long 2 disk games such as Final Fantasy, where the swords and stuff are abnormaly large and are not in proportion with the chars? I hate when games have like this scrawny guy toting a 300 pound hammer or ridiculesly large sword.

no its quite long but the weps are nice size but the olny thing i kept forgetting was that when you out of mana you dead ,i wastd so many fresh sage on them ****ing mana killers >.< goin to restart and i want my ALBEL sirus is he ulti the claw or katana ? i havent gotten every one yet so bah its good you need to have it for 2 weeks to finish it well enough then there disgaea which is sweet its like tactics but with some extra stuff and is quite humorous at times
