"Man, been away and come back and noone buys me a drink. All right."
*reaches into his pocket and lays a one-hundred dollar bill on the bar*
"Get me and my friend Venom here a drink, and get one for your pretty little self as well."
*turns to Venom*
"What have I missed in these last couple of months, any good slayings?"

*walks into my office and reads the note pam left*
and im the co-owner of the bar
*looks to pam*
theres something wrong with the bar...we couldn't have run out of supplies already i got enough for a whole year! its been a week
*sighs*
dont tell me we have a spectral demon with a ravenous hunger... they were bitches to find and a hell of a problem to kill

*places a common and very popular drink amonst royalty at the bar stand*
pam could you take care of this, i need to deal with a problem at the moment and your lordship please forgive our new bouncer hes been edgey lately, one last out stock of food for the year is gone so i cant prepare a feast for you.
*grabs my katana "masamune-kiten" and places it in my hilt*
this should not take long demons have been running amok very recently...

*stands and draws his sword, a two handed sword that he weilds easily with one hand but would take two for most men*
*crosses the room to stand by Venom, in front of Lord Apocalypse*
"Excuse me for my brashness Sir, I appolagize, however, I pledge fealty to no man save myself."
*turns to Venom*
"I have a little matter to take care of in the east harbor, excuse me."
*resheathes sword and walks out*
*walks back into the bar, dragging a midget with him who struggles uselessly. Walks over to Venom*
"I think I might have found the problem, and subsequently the solution, to the whole 'demon' problem."
*shoves the darf forward roughly while simultaneously placing a giant hand on the darf's shoulder*
"This is Amon, he's a street urchin of sorts. Apparently, he got overzelous when he was kicked out of the bar for his rawdyness. Well, old Amon here went out and bought himself a ridiculously overpriced ring which can cast apperitions from wherever the wearer is, to wherever he wants them to be. Only thing is, the ring is cursed. The only way to remove the ring is to remove the finger upon which it rests. The ring will then slid right off."
*looks Venom in the eye with disturbing calm*
"This is the only way; trust me, I've tried, much to Amon's displeasure."
*smiles wickedly at the midget who eyes him disapprovingly*

I didn't have to read his mind, Amon told me his story himself. He said he bought the ring from a sorcorer at the Red Moon Festival last season. See those runes engraves on the sides? Those are binding runes, the ring may give him the power to conjure, and not just apperations, but it can only be removed one way. Blood was used in the making of that relic, blood must be used to undo what has been done. It is the only way."
*lowers his voice to a near whisper, which still rumbles like thunder*
*stares placetly at Venom*
*the giant speaks yet again*
"You presume to much. I had no need to read his mind. When he figured that he had gotten caught, he caved. You play a dangerous game. You have no right to enter others minds yourself. You assume that you are always right. I have honor! More than you know or can imagine. I could have killed the dwarf when first he told me his dirty little secret, yet I brought him to you to see what you could do for him, to redeem him. Redemption may cost him a finger but will give him beck his life."
*takes notice of the look on Venom's face*
"You still don't get it do you? I know Amon, this is not his nature. He is good at heart. He used to go around a bring the children candy and toys. This ring has made him this way. That sorcorer know what he was doing when he sold Amon the ring, he transformed him into a tool, a device through which he could harass the bar."
*Turns to walk away, but stops*
"You supprise me Venom, I figured you wiser than that. To think that I violate the code of ethics in such a way. I know the code, better than most! I would not stoop so low; yet you did. I will let this pass from me, but be warned, I submit to noone. The next time you or anyone pulls something as abominable as what you did to me, I will send them to an eternity of pergatory."
*walks out*
