Does it really matter at all? Most people's argument against gays is because they can't father children. Not only is that bullshit, it's wrong. They should be just as eligible to marry as a sterile man, if not more. Can a sterile man donate semen to a sperm bank? Hell no he can't. Therefore, he does not help society by having children and is not up to par with the homosexuals that can father a child.
Another argument I see is that they can either choose or not choose to be gay. Who knows what it really is? It is their choice to live their life the way they want to and I don't believe any of it should be dicated to them. If two men love eachother and want to spend the rest of their lives together, then ****in' go for it. It is their RIGHT to live the way they want to and I firmly believe and support their movement.
Marriage is a religous thing, which I think should be changed. There is an increasing population of people that are either shifting religion or just don't believe in it at all. I am personally Atheist, but I understand everything a Christian or Jewish or a whatever man believes in. I don't understand WHY they do, but I recognize that this is their belief and I will never, ever try to make a man change their faith.
Let the homosexuals marry. They're just going to spend the rest of their lives together anyway. And think about it - if all of these men come out of the closet when this all eventually becomes legal (which it will), that means more girls for us.
And who doesn't like girls?

haha, in all seriousness, who cares if someone is gay or straight? hell i had a gay roommate last year and he was a really cool guy. and he did all the cleaning, which was phenominal. all of you who are saying gays shouldnt marry, i would be very surprised if any of you have ever gotten to know a gay person in real life. if you havent, you should. then after you do, try to tell that person that they cant get married.

what do people have again gay people? i have lots of gay friends and to be honest their funner to hang out with than straight people, cause most homosexual people dont give a shit what people think, and it disgusts me when i hear about someone getting stomped just because their gay, like people need to grow up, if you afraid of a gay person thats sad cause once u get to know them their really nice, also if they hit on you and you tell them nicely like "hey ill take that as a compliment but im sorry im heterosexual" and theyll be cool with it

For the people who are against gay marriage, Look at it this way: I'm sure most of you have been in love before or atleast thought you were. And you probably wanted to marry that person badly too. Same with gay people. There are gay people out there who are in love with another man/woman, and they really want to marry that person and spend the rest of their lives together. We should give them the right if thats what they want, because thats what they yearn for. It doesn't effect anyone else in any way. You'll only be making two people very very happy.
Also, as some of you said, marriage is a religious symbol. Well, not completely. Depends what way you look at it. Marriage can also be a symbol for eternal love for somone. You don't have to marry becase its religious, but because you want to create a bond between your partner. Also, maybe if gay marriage was given a different name, people might look at this issue differently. Instead of calling it "Gay Marriage", call it something else. If theres already a word, enlighten me lol.

My opinion on gay people is, if they dont try to make moves on me, I'm completely fine with them. I know gay / homosexual people in real life, they're not any different from the rest of the human population, they have 5 fingers, 2 ears, 2 eyes, what makes them any different other than they have a liking for the same gender?
Gay marriage isnt any different, it's just a marriage, and there's a huge deal with it, big deal, 2 men / 2 women getting married, It's not killing the United States is it? Sure, there's not a problem with a man and a woman getting in an abusive marriage, but once 2 men marry, it's homosexual jokes and idiotic comments all around.
And the halarious thing is, the gay people have more pride than the people who make fun of them have. Think about that.
