Hammerdins need elite items though. Bliz sorcs own cows but i think best char would havr to be a bowazon with either ohm'ed or 40/15 0.8 windforce...does massive damage and adds knockback giving you an advantage so the cows can't get close.

Id say a good hammerdin works real well in hell cows, but i also agree with fudgehead that a druid with a botd thunder mual owns hell cows too.

And cow king is always light immune so u dont gotta worry about him
