If i'd be rational I guess you simple had a lucky stroke, however... I experienced the exact same thing as you. The first time I went keyrunning I actually found the whole set (9keys) in about 30 runs. The second time I hunted for keys I got exactly 1 key in about 40-50 runs! (same character). I mean sure you can have some goodluck and badluck but damn those marges are huge. Imo there might be some thruth behind that theory.

You no with that time theory when i was keying ive found that id go through dry spells finding absolutely nuthing then when id come on later that day/night (i live in New Zealand my times different from you) id find all the keys in small amounts of runs. its happened more than once i just never thought n e thing of it...

did 40 key runs with sorc and found 1 hate key 1 d key
did 20 key runs with barb and got 10 tkeys 8 dkeys and 2 h keys

The time thing does sound plausable.
If it was a set chance of dropping a key, surely it would be evenly distributed over a period of time.
Whereas finding small amounts, then finding large amounts chaoticly, sounds like there is another factor above luck in that.

Maybe blizz noticed the amount that hammerdins and sorcs were used, and docked them some invisible "key MF %" to there class.

i use a very messed up necro... but thres nothing he cant do, u just dont see many of my builds around, Im kind of a hybrid, my army when keying is just my clay golem and merc because keying is soooooo easy.

i felt this way last season, i would bot all week, when saturday came around, i would come in w/ ist mal archnids, then the rest of the week i found nothing.. and the other day i did around 30 runs on summoner, 0 keys found... today did about 5 runs 1 key....

5 runs just 1 key?? lol i find hate every 4 runs usually and a terror every 5 or 6 runs now, and Dest keys are getting very rare for me, maybe about 1 Dest key for about 7runs, but still good enuff for me

i used my nexd yesterday 10 runs found nothing, so just to tell u... its not the char type, its ur luck with that char.... have u ever noticed that with some chars u find more Charms n stuff? BNET is random like that..

why am i getting soooooooo many keys??? its inasne!! did i tell you? i get a key set every 10-15 runs? As of now, I have about 15 Terror, 32 Hates, and 21 Destructions....
