....stings is safe. d2jsp is not. people who say they have not been banned by d2jsp but also use stings only got lucky becuase they were not tagged earlier.

stings maphack is NOT safe. iv been using it for 2 days. earlier tonight, i got a connection interupted and now when i try to logon, i get "connection temporarily banned from this realm". i only use its "undetectable" reveal act, and d2 loader. one of those got me banned from useast. i know its one of those cause i checked through the other possible reasons from battle.net, and i hadnt done any of them.
does anyone know how to fix my problem? i do have more cdkeys, but there only for expansion, none for classic. does it just ban the xp cdkey, classic, or both?
EDIT: false alarm, sorry bout that. i dont know y, but i was banned for like an hour

When in selected game use while in town then immediately close it and the maps stay intact and fully viewable. Also if you get a opened untitled notepad on your task bar = close this as well. They are equally undetectable (opening once Diablo II is open or before). There is no memory scan on Diablo II startup for hacks... Why do you think it would be worse to start D2 up after?
Edit: And the only time it is semi-detectable is when it is changing the map. It freezes game\warden to do so so it simply thinks the map was revealed naturally. Keeping Stings open after revealing the act map will not effect anything.

omg! sting's reveal act button is 100% safe! jesus! i've used it since it came out and no ban, along with all my friends. as for the "temp ban", try going in and out games real fast and see what happens. YOU'LL GET A TEMP BAN! that's bnets way of stopping bots. besides, the map is on your side of the computer not bnets. it's illegal for bnet to look into your comp. and don't tell me they do because the whole "bnets is violates there own ula was bullshit". people were just pissed off they were getting ban by a program that said it COULD be undetectable.

honestly, i don't bnet cares if you reveal the map. they know that tons of ppl will stop playing if they go after the people that all they want to do is see the map.

They do care that you are reveal the map, Quad, but Sting's Hackmap installs into D2 and then uninstalls to fast for the Warden to catch.

Well I already lost my second account (small one for experimentation). First week before I could even try anything else besides Maphack my CD-KEY was not accessable anymore. From what I beleave to be from having Maphack on all the time(before and after D2 was open). Because at the time I was using no other forms of anything nonlegit. It was the only thing I was using to enhance my experience. My first account I stuck with the idea of just using once in towns in the different acts and then immediately closing it out. Its still kicking hardcore today!
Conclussion: Maphack if used properly is undetectable (as most sites will state before you DL it), but I would not just leave it on all the time. Not saying anyone is wrong or right just stating this from my personal experiences.
NOTE: Of course Bnet won't scan your personal computer, but over time things can come into the light. I just use as needed then fully close it out. What's the harm in that?
