Part 4 will make so much money... I expect at least $500,000,000 in the first month alone. But thats a few years down the road.

The Day After Tomorrow... - Muse - 05-31-2004

im seeing the day after tommorow pretty soon, at the end of the week (its monday now, where im from). Iv'e read all the harry potter books (that have been released), the movies are good but the books outclass them by far.

i beleive in global warming and a good movie about it is waterworld (nobody i know likes it thoughSad)

yo nubli i think when trogdor says he dont beleive in global warming like scientists, i think he meant that he thinks the whole world wouldn't be flooded just the sea level will raise a little.

I haven't Day after tomorrow yet, but I've seen Troy. It was decent, but overall I thought it wasn't that good. I'll go see day after tomorrow sometime within the next few days hopefully, one of my friends works at a theater so I get all movies for free Big Grin

and about wtaerworld, i thought it was cool, although a little fake. like nubli said, even if the ice caps melted completely, there would still be a whole lot of land.

Troy was awesome (cept for Brad...ugghhh) Shrek 2 was better and Day After Tomorrow was best....looking forward to Harry Potter and Chronicles of Rid****....as well as Spiderman 2 and Dodgeball...so many good movies so little time....

The Day After Tomorrow... - etanol - 05-31-2004

I haven't watched it yet, maybe I should, but I prefer movies, which come from Asia.

The Day After Tomorrow... - A|fzZz - 05-31-2004

nah...movies from Asia cant really beat movies from the west...But asia makes really good horror movies...

The Day After Tomorrow... - etanol - 05-31-2004

IMO 99% of movies, which come from Hollywood, are crap.

The Day After Tomorrow... - jedimaster86 - 05-31-2004

Since i am a scientist at heart, Day after Tomorrow is a very true thing to me. Not only is the "super-weather" possibly true down the road, it was also pretty sweet just to watch:p

harry potter, sick movie yee-ha, i wanted to get midnight viewing next friday but i dunno if my mom will let meSad u do know that the fifth movie will be like 4 hours long lol.... the third one will most likely be a lot of talking but perhaps not as mch action, describing on sirius's past and such....but it'll still be sweet of course with the dementors and all....

i have no desire to see Troy, i dunno why i guess i just didnt like that part or history, or mayb it has something to do with Brad Pitt......

The Day After Tomorrow... - Fuggle - 05-31-2004

from what i have heard on all the radio channels and tv shows, this movie sucked a big one(keep in mind i didnt really hear one compiment about the movie except like it was a good idea oe could of been) . And the concept of it all could be possible but everything else about it is fake. Your helicopter wont freeze in like 1/2 a second or the empire state building freezes down in a good 3 seconds or so. You wont be running down a hallway when ice is being frozen so god damn impossibly fast that it is coming after you !OH NO! Im being chased by newly formed ice!.

So unless like about 17 radio stations and like 3 tvs shows were lying then the movie isnt that great. and up above its funny that they think ur using "bad" language in The Chronicles of Riddic k.

Etanol was right about hollywood's movies they do kind of suck most of the time. once in awhile a savior will come save the movie world with some kcik *** movie like the original matrix, but afterwards u gt a big gap of good movies, u get like horrible movies like Dawn of the Dead, it kept u entertained for a short while then got repetitive and u knew what was gonna happen in like 8 minutes into the movie.

The Day After Tomorrow... - Po_boy - 06-01-2004

I'm looking forward to Chronicles of Riddic k

The Day After Tomorrow... - Nubli - 06-01-2004

Chronicles of Rid**** seems like a more Spacy-Themed Matrix.

And SCF-Leader... if it got down to -200 degress I think things like that would freeze pretty fast... Of course the movie had it's fake moments like the storms and such, but they needed a way to show the aftermath of global warming. Which is better, a movie with action and stuff like that happening in 2 days, or going day after day after day until it hits? would take a while, and would seem more like a documentary. The thing is, after global warming hits and the northern hemisphere becomes like an ice age, just think of the last shot of the movie where the earth is half frozen... thats what it will look like. It may not happen in 1-2 days, but it will happen... in about 2-3 years time [after the north pole has fully melted.]

The Day After Tomorrow... - TroGdoR - 06-01-2004

Hah, its funny to think about how you guys *cough* Nubli *cough* will echo the sayings of certain scientists and environmentalists. Have humans effected the global environment? Of course we have with certain levels of Methane and Carbon Dioxide rising. Now we have to ask ourselves the real question. Is it possible for the global climate to fluctuate over the course of hundreds of years where we will see rises and falls in the average temperature? The answer to this is yes. The Earth will go through periods where the temperature will rise due to positioning in the orbit, active periods of sun spots on the Sun, etc. The Earth however, will also go through cooling periods due to inactivity in Sun Spots, positioning on the orbit, etc. As you can see the factors in each question can link the two together. Humans have been measuring the "effects" of "global warming" in great detail since the 70's. However, many scientists who know what they are talking about will tell you that human interference is not the main reason for the current rise in average temperature. Nope, instead it is just a period we are experiencing where we see temps. rise. Later they will discuss "global cooling" when we see the temps. fall. I guarantee it. Wink

The Day After Tomorrow... - Po_boy - 06-01-2004

Global warming WILL eventually happen in the course of the next 2,000 years. I think Global warming is real,it just won't happen in our life time

The Day After Tomorrow... - Nubli - 06-01-2004

TroGdoR go and find some website that deals with sun activity and see if we are being hit by a sun-spot. We actually have proof of what is going on with the climate. But you can stick to your decision. But you wont feel so smart once the north pole is fully melted, now will you?

The Day After Tomorrow... - Lycshiftz - 06-01-2004
