And I wasn't even talking about Africa. All across Europe I have heard of good things about Obama. The Iranian president, Ahmadinejad, sent him a letter of congradulations, even. I thought that was kind of funny from a guy that condemned the West.
From everything that I'm hearing, people are looking forward to Obama's presidency.

However, /sarcasm came in, offered his opposing viewpoints in a very educated, level, and calm manner, and you go off **** it you demo your not worth my time. Thats just showing you cannot compete intellectually with him, and makes you look like a...well jackass. I have been reading the posts by /sarcasm, and they do make sense, I don't like alot of it, but they are not going to make me go out and do shit like that. Maybe they should raise the voting age so people like you can grow up a bit before playing any role in the future of our country, even if it means I won't have a voice until later (only 19) I'd rather that then having someone as immature as you voting.

I'm not an American citizen (I live to the North) but I followed the Presidential Election pretty closely... While both of the candidates could have changed America for the better; I think (and have thought since the beginning) that Barack Obama was the right choice.

Even then Obama is in some danger, there was already a case of some Skin Heads planning an assassination on him, and they wanted to behead 14 Black people while wearing white suits. Something of that sort Im not sure if any of you heard that.

There was a survey done in the San Fransisco area where they asked only Black people. They asked them if they would vote for Obama, a 100% of those people said Yes.
Then they asked them if they agreed with the following policies, and they listed McCains policies, and each one of them said yes.
I don't think thats really fair either.

Health care is a privilege NOT a right. Just because someone is born in America, the country with the greatest health care hands down regardless of the BS spewed from Moore and company, does NOT mean you get health benefits. I will NOT under any circumstances be a fan of paying for someone elses health care. Not even my girlfriends health care, which she has none of. She gets sick we either fork over the dough for a doctors vist, about $100, and then the money for the meds or she grabs some over the counter meds and sleeps it off.
You want governement subsidised health care? Go to Canada they have it in spades. Hell if you want off the American continent you can go to Spain too.
And yes, healthcare should be both cheaper and more available.

I kind of liked McCain as well, but their campaign was so over-the-top, unprofessional, and intentionally distracting of the issues that I don't think I would've voted for him even if I had conservative views. Every time you turned around, Palin was inciting hate speech from the audience and trying to destroy Obama's character with no attempt to stop it.
If you have people yelling in the audience that your opponent is a "terrorist" and that they should "bomb Obama" and going on rallies with signs that say that he's a terrorist, you're doing it wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if someone out there was wishing death upon Obama because of the McCain/Palin campaign.
Palin was a prop. McCain had no idea the extent of her knowledge about the world when he chose her. I think he just did it because she was a conservative female that had a "mavericky" way of doing things. That word is so sickening to me.
But if none of that had happened. None of the terrorist accusations, none of the distractions, none of the Palin, McCain might have had a fair chance at the election. I would've been disappointed had Obama lost, but I wouldn't feel like we were all ****ed.

And the health care plan is a way to make it easier for everyone to have health care. McCain's big plan was giving everyone 5 thousand dollar credit to go out and get health care far worse than they had and taxing employer-given healthcare for the first time ever.
