the weather in calgary is bad. but since we are basicly trained for winter theres no problems. just a bit of ice and the windchill.

Winter wonderland! - Nethran - 12-29-2008

A few dead hobos. Nothing serious, right?

Winter wonderland! - wazzacky - 12-29-2008

i remember when i was India for a month, there are less rules for driving than Canada and US. There are no lanes, and very very few stop lights. Many of the rickshahs' (3 wheeled taxis) are no more than 5cm away from ure car. You'd think their driving there is terrible.. it is definitly dangerous, but i agree on what my cousin said.. if u can drive in bombay u can drive anywhere.

a dead hobo is no serious thing. plus they probbely all relocated inside.

Winter wonderland! - Nethran - 12-29-2008

Tell that to their families...

thats very cold...
In our city and Victoria and vancouver, i do know that they offer shelters for the winter, althought some people decide not to take it. Thats whats happening in victoria.

And -22 isn't that cold in my books, but its like hell for people from B.C. who NEVER GET SNOW *mad face*, coldest it got here was like -37c but the wind made it feel like -43... ****ing praries

I do and I don't..it is just sad having to wear shorts on Christmas day while cooking, because inside the house is 85 degrees.Pies and Turkey and Ham have to be baked soooo............
Of course I change to a dress for dinner...but still.....

Winter wonderland! - Siris - 12-29-2008

I think it was about 60-70 F here..... of course it feels cold compared to the summer but still...

Winter wonderland! - Nethran - 12-29-2008

How hot was it yesterday, Pam? Looke dlike it was pretty damn hot.

Winter wonderland! - wazzacky - 12-30-2008

too many non metric temperatures hurts my brain. wats 80F?

Winter wonderland! - Pamela - 12-30-2008

80 degrees means you sweat...add in the temperature rise of an oven on all day baking nonstop...then throw in boiling potatos and broth for stuffing and sauce for gravy...it adds up and makes it equivalent to a July summer day near the equator.....

Neth it was so hot I got into my pool after a 2 mile walk..in shorts.

can u use metric?.. ahah no i get it. I've been to las vegas, and i find it unbearable, its not even the sun its the bloody air. Like here it actully can get very very hot, but its only the sun's warmth, the air never goes over like 32 celcius (guesstimation) . But u could get a sun burn on a clear day in like 10 minutes here.

Winter wonderland! - [/sarcasm] - 12-31-2008

I live in Texas.

Wtf is snow?

Winter wonderland! - Nethran - 12-31-2008

Haha, Wazz. You don't even know. You can't compare Las Vegas to the American South. It's that kind of heat, maybe a touch milder, but the humidity is such that you're breathing it in, and it's thick. The air feels thick. It carries the heat into the shade, so you can't get away from it unless you get inside. It's miserable and I don't know how Pam can stand to live in Florida.

Winter wonderland! - wazzacky - 01-01-2009

Hey! are u kidding, we went during summer. The temperature was 40 degrees. i think thats 100F. And the humidity was unbearable. MAde ure skin feel sticky
