You just have to download stuff for the HTC where as Palm has to bundel gimmick software like that. I downloaded an SNES emulator onto my HTC phone and I've been playing Final Fantasy II on it, can't do that on any Palm I know of, and Windows Mobile works great if you use it properly and don't have one of the cheaper under powered HTCs.
