D2NT31 NTBot42 Tutorial - Killer-cain - 06-14-2010

hello i have used hacks/mods from here for years just never became a member. i have been using d2nt and it works great but im trying to set it up to run my barb efficently... it does not switch to my 2x hotos to bo and also it would be awesome to keep the hotos out to tele then switch to kill. i know there is a simple one line command to swich weapons but im not sure where to put it. can anyone help with this?

i cant seem to figure out how this crafting works... my bot works fine etc. and it has started to pick up craft items since i turned crafting to true.
but does the bot craft by it self when possible? or do i have to do the crafting? - since it would suck to use all the room in stash for crafting material and leaving the goodies behind..

I read the thread, but can't fix this problem, D:\Games\Diablo II\D2NT\scripts\NTBot\char_configs -> NTConfig_Sorceress_Banya.ntl, my char name is "Banya"

What sould I do?

half the stuff most people think is worthless, is really worth stuff and some of the magic's and rares in the pickit is worth TONS

you should add this:
([Name] == MaidenJavelin || [Name] == CeremonialJavelin || [Name] == MatriarchalJavelin) && [Quality] == magic # [IAS] >= 40 && [JavelinAndSpearSkillTab] >= 6
Even +5@skils/javs is worth more than ne eth unique javelins


Blues/rares/P runewords are D2 endgame, basically.

D2nt will save one of each of the materials for a recipe and cube them when it has all of them.

You can also use it to cube eth/white weapons and armors. Just have to make sure you tell the pickit to keep before and after

hey iv been running this bot for a few hours and i noticed it throws away skiller gcs that have no extra stats.... how is it possible to configure it to keep them??? (it was a sorceress lightning grand charm) i managed to save it by buying it back from vendor but i wonder how many times it has done this. thanks in advance

As soon as my bot logs in and enters the room, with red messages, it says, "Reference Error: NT_LoadConfig is not defined."

What do I have to do in order to fix my bot and make him work?

And one more question regarding the item picking.
If I choose the extreme as an option for item picking then would it only pick the extreme option of items? Or can I make a little change on the system? And would it also sell my own gear that my character is wearing if my character's gear doesn't meet the item picking criteria?

Skidude, thanks a ton for all the help and advice. I've had the bot running flawlessly for almost a day now, but all of a sudden it keeps getting this "Halt blahblahblah" error every couple minutes, seemingly at random. When this happens, it crashes the game and restarts. Any help, or do I need to provide further information?

Ok, so this "Halt" error seems to have stopped for now, but instead, after the countess (the first script I have set to run), my sorc just sits there and I get this error:

What did u change in your pickit to make it error? Cause i have never got one pickit error on this bot. Its going to be like a missing # or ; in a line of code somewhere i think

I believe it happened after I tried amending what was there with the "godly magic rare" scirpt. I'm gonna try deleting it and replacing it with your file exactly.

edit: ok, I just replaced the advanced (the one I'm using) magic_rare file with your godly one, whereas before I was trying to just add parts of it. In that process is where I'm sure I effed it up. So, now it's working again, and I'll have to just be more careful upon future editing. Thanks again! Smile

Hi this bot is awsome but theres just one problem for me, it wont do any other quest but meph and diablo. baal wont work it says ntbaal.ntj:ntm_takewaypoint( )failed (kurast docks) and it pretty much says the same thing for all other quests(the waypoint failed thing)
