Ive read LOTR a number of times, and ive taken out The Wheel Of Time from a library , i think it was the seventh 1(cant remember), but i thought LOTR was better written.

Ok, seriously, it's all about the first and pre-first age for LotR-timeline books. It's not actually LotR but it's on the same timeline or whatever you want to call it. Get The Quenta Silmarillion, that's probably one of the best written books EVER. Don't read any of the Book of Lost tales 1- like... 5?
