for rushing and dueling i like enigma when i have enough resist.. otherwise for pvm and mfing by walking coh is better because it gives me full resist

It also depends on the char. Like for a PvP zon, CoH, and for a hammerdin, if you have the right equip, go with Enig because you'll have enough resists if you don't have shitty items.

They're rune words... get a good 3 socceted armor for Enigma and but Jah + Ith + Ber
For CoH you need 4 socceted armor and Ber + Um + Ist + Dol

i agree it does depend on what character ur useing for any charactger that isnt required a tele ai: zons non hammerdin palys, trap azns, and sorcs would use a coh, then any thing that would be nice 2 have a nigma would wear 1

Does it matter what lv or def the sockreted plate has before u put the stones.
Im asking for coh and enigma as well

well for the armor the level for the most part don't matter because the runes require high levels.. and for the defense there are certain max defenses the socketed armors can have .. for example i have a superior 4 socket dusk shroud which is on the high side for defense..

If youre not picky about defense, then no. Oh, and no on the ilvl too.
Just make sure you have the right amount of sockets.
