Chess for D2! You hear me right - Chess for D2!

I am so happy to announce that I have begun and been able to release this first version of the chess game for d2 - which has probably been the most difficult program I have ever written.

Here is a quote from the readme:

Quote:Chess.d2h is an emulation of the popular chess boardgame for Diablo II. Chess is the only intellectual stimulating boardgame - therefor a must for all Diablo players Wink.

The emulation is aimed at player vs player gameplay - a computer AI is probably not planned on being added (maybe a helper that suggests a move), but we all enjoy taking down our buddies anyway!

Note: The chess module is very useful while "waiting around" and a game can be continued throughout multiple games!

Update v0.4

Changes:

-Added "reverse view" command (see the display command)
-Added "cheat" feature (it's actually really a helper for new players). The "cheat" feature displays all squares/pieces by attacked opponent in a special way.
-Added the "#cheat" special command
-Fixed a bug, that wouldn't process queen-side castling properly
-Fixed a bug, that would allow rooks/bishops to walk "through" own pieces

Update (v0.5):

-Fixed the "invisible" bug that would occur when attacking other pieces while being in check
-Attacked squares in "cheat" (helper) mode now display number of attacks on the specific field and not only a "1"
-The "#cheat" command (to test if your opponent is cheating) has been updated with an add-on that displays the total number of times of opponent having used the cheat feature
