blizzard says "they have no plans atm to reset ladder for D2 or W3" as stated by a blizz rep at bnet forums

Yes they just convert to non-ladder. I might start playing again if Ladder restarts because my friend said that people give alot away their Ladder stuff because they just start again.
If I get some decent stuff I might play minorly and bot it up.

bot season 3 ladder items and trade em for there season 2 non ladder
i did beginning of season 2 .They were giving there season 1 ladder gear for the season 2 ended up with 300 runes worth of crap.
