IP bans rnt actualy ip. what they do is put a file in your regrestry and if b.net detects it your denied

I for one think you should be banned from d2 (in another thread you said you used maphack, so theres your problem.) IP bans don't last forever. Give it a few days.

If you have dsl like me whenever i got banned for botting those stupid 24 hours ones all i did was unpluged my router and my modem and it resets your ip. you can also restart your computer and it should restart it. or you could almost get an ip mask mabey. but i do agree with nubli you deserved it so your lucky your getting help

That works for some DSL isp's some have a fixed ip also doesnt work if your behind a router with a static ip setup.
you can also reset your dynamic ip w/o unplugging the modem,type in ipconfig/renew in msdos cprompt it's a lil quicker than the 2 minute modem reset time

you have to set it as static ip for forwarding ports for other apps and games so thats why some peeps will have static ip's

no if you have ppooe all you have to do is go to your router page and you can open certain ports for your games ect.
then only certain ports are open not all of them

You can change ur IP manually in your comp, I forgot how, but yeah u can put in crap numbers and that'll be ur ip. right format tho
