Rate this sorc build - jesusinacan - 10-27-2004 i was looking around and i found this sorc build --------------------- Stats Distribution ---------------------- Strength: 80-110 (Enough to use Hel'ed SS with Gear) Dexterity: Enough dexterity to use gear (normally base) Vitality: As much as you can here Energy: 60-80. -------------------- Skill distribution -------------------- Ice Bolt - Synergy to most of the skills in the cold skill tree. Reccomendation: Maxed Eventually Ice Blast- Synergy to Blizzard and u will be using this against solo monsters like pindleskin, Reccomendation: Maxed Glacial Spike - Synergy to Blizzard but unlike Blast, it is rather good in crowd controlling and spike and blizzard can be a deadly c Reccomendation: Maxed Blizzard : Your main attacking skill. Either owns everything or misses everything. Owns bosses fast and shines in chaos sanatuary. Unlike other character builds that migth have trouble in Act4, u might find yourself killing everything Reccomendation: Maxed Cold Mastery: Reduces a lot of cold resistance Reccomendation: Maxed Frozen Armor: 1 point. Actually Freezes monsters instead of just slowing them down Shiver Armor: Frozen is superior to shiver IMO. Energy Shield & Telekinsis: My reccomendation is 1 point but it is debatable that you should put points onto energy shield. Teleport: 1 point. Obvious reasons Static Field: 1 point. Excellent at reducing a lot of monsters down to half hp at hell, really works wonders against bosses. Warmth: 1 point My suggestion is to: Lvl 1 to 18: Save all points and put into every preq of Blizzard and the (Frozen Armor, Telekinsis, Teleport , Static Field and Warmth) First thing U want to Max Blizzard ASAP then Glacial Spike first. After that, alternate points between Ice Blast and Cold Mastery. Max Ice bolt last. --------------------- PVM equipment --------------------- PVM Equipment for the poor Wizardspike Vipermagi Rhyme Shield or Lidless w/P diamond Maras Amulet Shako Two X sojs Silkweaves Trang Belt Trang Glove PVM Equipment for the Rich Heart of the Oak 35+ resists Ormus Robes (UM) Nightwing Veil(UM) Hel'd SS or Cold Faceted SS depending on base str Thundergod's Vigor Dwarf Star Ring Raven Frosts Mara's Kaleidoscope Silkweaves 8x Cold Charms with 30+ to life as second mod One 15 all resists GC 7 x 5 resists SC Annililus Small Charm Obviously this gives u decent DR, life, resists and nice elemental absorb. U won't be needin' much mana from blizzard/glacial neways and your warmth is enough to regenerate the mana. Get a Merc. A Act5 merc. Use a decent damage sword and Vamp Gaze and Shaftstop and he's good to go. 2. Glacial Spike as Left attack and Blizzard right click 3. Static and let ur merc take care of cold immunes. 4. Blizzard is useful in areas like Throne of Destructuion spawnign areas and against mephisto 5. Beware of Hell Gloams and Undead Fetishes. T gods will protect you from lightning damage from Gloams but Undead Fetishes are pretty tricky. i take no credit for this guide... i found it here Rate this sorc build - Silver Ice - 10-28-2004 6/10, dont use a ss unless u have a really useless computer, dont use an act 5 merc, their weak and they give no aura, dont use hoto tgods or any absorb, if u suck that badly in pvm u deserve to die by some weak gloam. Rate this sorc build - Quiksilver - 10-28-2004 dude in the pvm for the poor.. sojs and maras arent for the poor they are for the RICH! Rate this sorc build - Rapta111 - 10-30-2004 Depends on the writer's initial definition of "rich" and "poor". Soj's and a low-mid maras aren't too hard to get compared to Enigma and CoH or etc... And Magefists are hella easy to get. Trang gloves should be left for the necro's IMHO. One thing I don't get... Trang belt? A snowclash is VERY easy to get, and if not, use an up'ed nightsmoke or gloom's trap. All should be better than a trang belt. Marrows, Treks and Silkweaves also deserve mentions in here as well. One thing I don't get is... why the heck is Tgod's mentioned? Rate this sorc build - Silver Ice - 10-30-2004 because this person likes absorb for pvm..... maybe he should check out that monsters dont fire very painful elemental attacks, therefore absorb is pretty useless pvm Rate this sorc build - Rapta111 - 10-30-2004 Yes, I agree. Rate this sorc build - Tsuki - 11-04-2004 dudes dont use arachnids use snow clash and use a +3 cold ammy shield should use sancuary since good resis Rate this sorc build - Rapta111 - 11-05-2004 Actually, Maras or a fletch would be much better. FCR and resists are much better than a +1 on bliz. |
