I gave this a lot of thought, and i was wondering if this was a good idea, or if this exact skill build had been thought of before.

Hmm... not much of a totally great build. You shouldn't put any points into holy shield, and pump up your resist skills instead. Remember that you get a passive resistance bonus for pumping the three resist skills to a high level, put on a g-angel and BOOM! Maxed resists.
