I was wondering out of all the people who come here, to give me some help with computers. Out of the three alienware computers, i have no idea which is the better buy..... http://www.alienware.com/Product_Pages/desktop_all_gaming.aspx they are the 3 on the far left.

Area-51,Aurora™, or Area-51®..

the 2 area-51 computers are different.

Any suggestions would be helpful thank you.

Well do you want this for only gaming or what?

5... f*cking... thousand... dollars... omg dude

Well guess Alien is really only for gaming... I'd say the Area 51 - ALX

Don't get an Alienware. Build one yourself. It's much cheaper, usually works better, and is upgradable because there is nothing proprietary.

I built a machine than can work almost as well as an Alienware machine for about 1,500.

It's contradictory to ask which is the best buy, and then present any Alienware computers.. lol. They're all drastically over priced.

As said above, build one yourself.

Oh, and just for good measure.. to answer your question..

If all of those are in your budget, you may as well go with the overall better system. Which, depends on whether you like Athlon or Pentium in this case.. even though the "next generation area-51 featuring pci-e" looks like it'd be better system at a glance.

I just don't know -that much- about computers to tell you for certain, and so I suggest searching around a couple sites dedicated to this sort of thing, look @ online reviews you can find (google) and then make your decision. Sometimes newer isn't always better.

e.g. use google.com and search for "radeon x300 reviews" and then "radeon 9600xt reviews" to contrast and compare.

:x

Just what I'd do..
