it can be broken, all they gotta do is drain your mana, alotta % mana stolen per hit, drops their mana instantly, their ES drops, and they die because they have crap life since it was all spent into mana

well, in a way, because it takes mana instead of life, so as soon as it cant take any more mana, it turns off

in a way... this works.. % dmg taken goes to mana regenerates your mana, eshield takes the dmg too, and u got a ton of mana so it regenerates fast

what about those hammerdins that do 15k +? does ES absorb poison? if not, poison zon will easily own that build, even if it does, my poison zon does like 53k and i've heard of people that do well over 100k, so, if it does absorb poison, it will drain too fast to recover, my zon does an average 3k/second not including absorb, so the ones that do 100k+ will do over 6k/second, which will drain that mana(if it absorbs poison) down very fast, and if not, it will drain their life to 1, and they will die in 1 hit, as for ES, max ES with max telek. absorbs 2 mana to 1 point of life, so if someone would do, lets say 2k damage in 1 hit, that takes 4k mana out in that one hit, and, there is a cap on % dmg goes to mana, otherwise you would be able to get invincible on open, no one is truly invincible on open, and if it cant be gotten on open, there is no way to get it on closed

Im already using this build, and I did it cuz im on HC.
lvl 81 at the moment:
Maxed ice bolt
Maxed FO
15 to telekinesis because past around level 25, it doesnt help anymore
20 energy orb
max cold mastery
and the rest wil go to chilling armor
suprisingly enough, i didnt put any at all into energy... all into vitality incase I tele into mana burns. My 500 mana can take a few hits from meph, so im usually never hurt ;-) that + I have 1440 health to back me up in case
for every ONE health I would lose, I lose 0.75 mana instead... so its kinda cool
yes this build OWNS, especially for HC

Poison is not absorbed by ES, and you have to take into count the PvP penalty on damage. Resists and absorbtion can take your large number of poison damage down quickly. I think it'll work. And what about those heavy damage hammerdins? Well um - they won't hit you. And I agree there is always a way to kill a character. We don't even know if that character can kill anything itself.

I disagree mpeck. Just because you can't get invincable on open doesn't mean you will never be able to on closed. Most likely you can be invincable on open, it is just in the files, and you have to know what is what and know what to change, like Nightshiver. Maybe there isn't any way to be invincable on closed now, but there are always those glitches and hacks. No offence Insanity, this idea was horrible. So, you would have ES and max TELEK. You would have no life and how would you kill? This idea us ludacris. Even if it did work, as mpeck said the poision would get you. Maybe ES doesn't effect posion but it would still be hacking away at your life and if I'm not mistaken, poison kill now in PvP. So you would die, and even if poison didn't kill, your mana would be gone at some point. Or how about if the casters hit you? A perfectly built sorceress whether it be blizzard or orb would annihlate your sorceress.
EDIT: If it is good for PvM I'd love to see this type of sorceress go and clear Chaos Sanctuary.

if u have 95% dtm ull never die unless its magic dmg i believe.

I highly disagree, tell that to my expired level 93 Blizzard Sorceress. Full PvP Gear, and a Holy Freeze Mercenary using Eth Tomb Reaver, Eth Chains of Honor, and 120%/45% ED//IAS Crown. It was fairly easy. Think about it, even if the ES//TELEK sorceress did have one bad *** mercenary, all those wasted skills into ES and TELEK, her spells would be weak, and I gaurentee that she would die easily. I bet 40k D2Sector points on it.

Just Frozen Orb and Frozen Bolt doesn't work, you need Cold Mastery... The sorceress will be weak, plain and simple.

you dont need cold mastery its just nice to have, its not like light or fire mastery where it gives + damage it lowers resistance. anyways put 10 into it with your items it should be 20
