umm u may have the wrong version or ur d2 is outdated...well anyhow go to http://www.d2sector.net/downloads/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=15 and downlaod the maphack.. try all of them
edit: or screw around int he fourms and look in the hack section

he means update the patch to 1.10.
you may have installed it wrong too.
the files for the 6.1 cracked are supposed to go in th diablo 2 directory.

like every patch they make new version make sure its 1.10 and about sntalling it wrong... how do you exctract an item to desktop wrong..?
