how do i get rid of the links that appear on the URL when i press the first few letters eg http://www.hello.com.When i press ' www.h' the URL http://www.hello.com will appear.How do i make it (the 'www.hello.com' when i press 'www.h') disappear?

For IE.
Click on the history button. Between Media and the Mail icon... then find any references to the site you want to remove, right click on them and chose delete.

sometimes if u delete the history parents will think ur trying to cover up for porn sites.... ive had it happen to me before:

its funny how i can know much stuff about comps that genious pplz dont know, and yet they can blow me away with all their "blah blah blah" stuff,
linux? isnt that like a special software language like oracle files or someblah blah blah blah blah? all i know is that my mom had to do a big oracle software merge at work a few years ago, and that oracle has 3 buildings... saw it on the newz!

Linux is actually an OS like windows etc. But faster, more stable etc... I use RedHat Linux v9 for this server as you can see by my uptime signature :p
