I was thinking about this when I dueled an FoH'er.
What if an FoH'er was made with max Conviction and facets in every piece of gear he had, BUT had an Act 3 Lightning mercernary with Crescent Moon, Griffon's, and Ormus' Robes? Maybe this would be cool for all you rich people out there to try.

but i tested out a foh'er pvm on open, with all 5/5s and stuff, he was good, cuz it was like, -90% enemy's resistance, and +90% dmg...or something. i forget...just not very good stats, cuz no +skills, just 5/5's everywhere..

Hm, from charms you can have +10 combat skills and +1 from ann so +11 and,
Shield-4x5=20/20
Weap-6x5=30/30
Armor-4x5=20/20
Helm-3x5=15/15
Not to sure about gloves,jewelery, belts, and boots.
=85/85 so if its possible on them
lets give it 95/95

anyone who tries that on sp will tell u that u need a balance between facet % dmg/pierce and item% pierce.... see in perf death's fathom u are getting 30% cold dmg and +3 to sorc skills which is like +9 to blizzard... and +10 if u add a 5/5 die cold facet.... now if u had a 6 p cold die faceted crystal sword u would get only 30%/-30% cold dmg, no sorc skills, no fcr either.... u might be stronger but u will be too slow

True, but they could get 10x +1 cold GCs with perfect fcr.

The best merc for an FOH pally is an Act 1 Fire arrow with an Ice bow, Dragon armor and Dream helm.
She will have holy freeze, fire and shock, along with your conviction. This is an idea I'll be testing this weekend. Anyone on East SCL is welcome to duel my foher when she's done
