suggestion on stickied threads - gaunts - 01-17-2005 ok my suggestion is espetialy in the d2 discution forum is make one stickiy for each subject to free up some space example: rune word sticky scame site sticky ect .... just my suggestion for cleaning up some stuff lmk what you think suggestion on stickied threads - jedimaster86 - 01-17-2005 well i merged the two scam site threads into one sticky. unfortuantely it seems that the rest are all things that already are one their own subject. suggestion on stickied threads - gaunts - 01-17-2005 not to tell you how to do the job what about the 2 rune work stiky's or mabey somebody could make a new one with all of them in there i understand what your saying it's just that you got to scroll down half a page to get to the new posts but what can you do just my opinion suggestion on stickied threads - Corona_Time - 01-20-2005 Jedimaster86, bro you got your work cut out for you there, just take a look at the editors forum. I don't thinkg people can read anything that is stickied. It's like there blind to the fact or there the only ones that experience problems with bots and hacks. To many threads on JHJ and D2JSP. suggestion on stickied threads - A|fzZz - 01-20-2005 Btw speakign bout stickied... I realised there're too many stickies in the d2 general...its getting messy... suggestion on stickied threads - Milk - 01-21-2005 There is no spoon suggestion on stickied threads - UberGrossMann - 01-21-2005 milk that was an absolutely pointless post...if you want to stick around the forums i suggest not spamming and staying on the topic i'll see what i can do with the stickies as well...and yes corona i think you're right that people just don't bother to read the stickies sometimes suggestion on stickied threads - A|fzZz - 01-21-2005 The only reason why ppl dun read the stickies are cos there's too many of em... If it was me..ill not bother reading 5-6 stickies [d2 general for eg]..ill just pass.. suggestion on stickied threads - Milk - 02-01-2005 ya i just ignore stickies... so all those who feel like making one i suggest u save ur points suggestion on stickied threads - Foog - 02-02-2005 i dunno, but i read the stickies when i first came here, i read the title and if it looked 'portant (i.e. if the title was "READ THIS NOW BEFORE POSTING" i read it...) and i read the rules etc. but yeah, most ppl wont read em and its stupid. suggestion on stickied threads - Fuggle - 02-02-2005 Ive learned to ignore the stickies, like all of them are random things look at Anferny's Scary and creepy story thread, what a waste of Server bandwith. Stickied for "it was a joke". Things like that should be unstickied and repositoried. You should make it so that only mods can sticky. Or As in reps Certain amount of posts and time with 100 rep or so. suggestion on stickied threads - Dynafrom - 02-02-2005 Heres what I suggest should be unstickied: http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=10472 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14561 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13421 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14558 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1684 The above 5 should be unstickied because its all from websites such as D2Data.com or Arreat Summit if everyone wasn't so lazy there would be less stickys. The following is just a USELESS sticky: http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=12728 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6038 <-- theres another thread on this... both in the same section http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=12873 <-- Its not even out yet http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14057 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15346 Both of these should be removed and placed into the threads that have been created like this one: http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4664 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14538 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15399 http://www.d2sector.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13551 suggestion on stickied threads - Muse - 02-02-2005 i agree that ppl shouldn't be able to stickie unless mods or if thet have the power to give reps i think they should be able to stickie threads (for money unless mods). I also agree with Dynaform, the threads with stuff just taken from another big diablo website should just be deleted. i was thinking that maybe in a catagory there should be a sub-catagory with all the stickies. |
