I got a couple of themes from there, but to install them, I have install a shitload of crap adware

Anyone know exactly what it installs so I can get rid of it afterwards?

You got some windows themes from there? Well anyways, if they are windows themes, you can download a program called Windows Blinds and you can download and install themes off of that.

I think he means skins for WinMX.

WinMX - CheshireCat - 02-20-2005

Yeah, got em from http://www.themexp.org/ but they come packed with adware. It sucks.

WinMX - Nubli - 02-20-2005

I use the regular WinMX skin. It's crappy, but it still gets the job done.

WinMX - Silent_killers - 02-20-2005

Try Limewire. It whoops.

WinMX - Obfuscate - 02-20-2005

Usually when you get adware with a skinning program if you remove it "kills" the program. They make money via the adware most likely. Especially if its "free".

WinMX - erizoe - 02-22-2005

I use the dark theme for Winmx. Limewire and those other ones don't compete for safty and in those other programs you have to manually not share. In Winmx you can automaticly not share all files.

EDIT: Sorry i didn't even read the first post asking the question. try just running spybot or another program on them...a regular virus cleaner would work also i think.

Silent_killers was correct, They are themes for WindowsXP.
