First of aLL, im so happy to be back here. I moved to Serbia for a few jobs and im back at the West Coast and am ready to start University. Now, let me say that on my long break from here, I have done some research.
TSearch, its a very good hack tool. Find the value, search again for increase, decrease, etc. Find the value you want, lets say your 20 gold in Diablo2. Now, you can change this value to, lets say, 600000 gold.
Now that you are intrested, lets talk about bigger things. Health potions are made of a code that adds on a % of your max life and + it to what you have. Now, what if you could take your life and freeze it?
No, this is not god-mode, this is called hacking for dummies. We can all recall that the security on this game is, lets face it, poor. On open, if you know how to use the editing right, you will become immortal. Now, how to do it on closed? Well, it's not permanent, oh nonono. This is cosmetic unless its your server, so we now know how to do this on Open, unless you are really stupid.
Now for closed. Well, we have seen that the game's engine is hard to trick, with the Soul Stone Dupe as an example. The stones wont work cause their ID's are F'ed up, so forget about item duping. Gold and Health and Damage and Speed and Defense, my friends, is where I am heading to.
First of all, lets discuss, SERIOUSLY DISCUSS, how would you be able to make the game make the cosmetic changes on Closed, dare I say it, REAL?
