You have to use Hero Editor, you can find it under the download section.

yeah. go into the editor, and open one of your single player characters, go into their inventories in the editor, import the items after having extracted them.

Kenn. I use UDIE 2 or w/e it is. I find it personally easier for importing / exporting and editing items, and as that's what you're doing. I believe I should recommend it. - It can be found here, under the editors section-
