HOLYFIRE/CONVICT BUILD will wear Hand of justice, dragon armor, dragon shield, CoA, dungos, sandstorm trek boots, rings and ammys debatable right now as with gloves. Will add one point into charge for evading purposes mabye zeal mabye not, debatable also, lol. Not quite sure if i should melee with this guy or not, otherwise angelics will be a must. Made char with hero editor, items holy fire + resist fire gives 5k damage with weapon and about 740-780 aura damage. with convicts -res. i think this build has potential. Getting gear right now will be testing next few days if anyone has any ideas leave one. Or just tear this build apart and call me a Newblet:eek:

The damage you have qouted, is that with or without points into Resist Fire and Salvation? If not, max those out and you'll do much more damage.
You may also want to try a character with maxed Holy Shock and Salvation, and instead with a Dream helm and a Dream shield, combined with a Crescent Moon weapon.

holy fire usually sucks but if your going melee id suggest using a very fast weapon instead of hoj unless its possible to make a hoj phase blade or so. anyway good luck.

answer the questions yes this is with resist fire maxed and salvation maxed, the char has
-190 total fire resists. My HoJ is phase. Thx for replies

-190% fire resist sounds good. thats 2.9x your dmg i think. ill be waiting for azn and lostrance to look this build over before it would be considered for getting sent to the guides.

this build sounds very similiar to the convict holy shock pally, but sounds liek ti will do good

I've tried this before, and while a Level 44 Holy Fire Aura sounds really nice, it only adds an average of 3'200 damage. Holy Shock on the other hand, adds an average of 3'500 damage. While this may not be a huge difference, with Holy Shock, the choice of weapon and armor is open.

but the holy shock is 1-3700 and the aura is 1-something the fire is like 3200-3500 and the aura is about 740-780. But ur right if i used 2 dreams i could get more physical damage or get some res. or skill mod armor, but thats not what im going for here, going for convict and holy fire to do job, if i used dreams it would be the tesladin on this site, and im not really interested in that char. thx for the reply to

well instead of maxing out conviction why not make a character using infinity and maxing out holy fre +synergies/ holy shock + synergies, dream helm, infinity, coh/fort, and angelics

i wouldn't do that max holy fire/light build because with holy fire maxed it wouldn't even do as much as the dragon/dragon/hoj build also no shield. That would be a cool build though just because if someone was sorbin fire u could switch to holy shock but i think im gonna stick with mine im making now, so ill fill in in a couple of days how it goes.

Most people have gears to absorb lightning cos of the pesky trapsins around...blackhorns..wisps etc...
Most jav zons have thundergods...So does who think shock might be better...think again

most hell mobs are light,cold,poison immune so fire + covict is a good idea...if you can get the attack speed and FHR for it to be good.
