My barb uses grief, my zealer does, and my smiter does, what im wondering is whats the uber grief glitch that ive been hearing about?

Grief? - TuNa-FisH_SuShI - 04-06-2005

the +damage doiesnt show adding to ur attack when u look at ure stats but its adding a major load of damage to it

I realize that Smile im just wondering what the glitch is? Ive always been told ed adds nothing to grief dmg and 400 dmg aint much in hell.

400 X Whatever % ED you have.

Grief? - Matt.B - 04-06-2005

So ed does effect it?

Grief? - Silver Ice - 04-06-2005

yes it does

it adds to shield dmg, used mainly by smiters

Grief? - PantallicA - 04-06-2005

Incorrect, ED does not affect Grief's damage. The problem with this "bug" is that only effects the damage on the weapon. the +350-400 damage on grief is counted after everything else, which makes armors like fortitude completely useless on a smiter.

what I heard is that the +dmg is added on after everything else, it can not be reduced, can not be anything, just that much dmg smack on top of their face. It addes to everything melee, smite/sin kicks gets dmg from it. That is if it hits, that's why smiters use what is it, raven/angelic ring/ammy, grief, exile, 2xber coa, enigma, gores, dungos, 10% crushing blow gloves? I've seen so many with that build it's like they are all twins...
