I was looking at the forums and I have noticed there isn't a sports forum. By looking at my friends that play video games, most of them seem to like playing or watching sports. I was thinking that maybe we should have a sports forum

I second this suggestion. Maybe have a sub-forum for each of the mainstream sports? (Football, basketball, Baseball, etc.)
Right now, it's hard to talk about sprts here, because few people visit those threads in small talk. I like the idea.
The only 2 things i can see a problem with it are:
1)spamming ("the NY Yankees sux" andother posts like that)
2)need of a new mod. Fuji can't possibly look after all those forums. it would probably become neccessary to get a new mod.

Yea, Whenever I go to forums and they have a sports section they usually spam other team sucks.

It's a good idea, but I think that that particular forum would be overrun with nizzoobs, beyond reality, totally pointless because sports from a spectator's perspective is all opinion driven. Which is pointless.

sounds like a good idea to me also btu i agree ppl would be spamming that other teams suck and things, especially around wrold series and super bowl times

true, but most everybody has tried all the character options, whereas people have't liked all teams in sports. i see plenty of spam. a simple mod will fix that though.

Yea, the admin here are pretty fast to warm people about spamming and double posting so i don't think its going to be that big of a deal.
