I thought about this, but am not quite sure yet. Its hard to get FCR and full damage reduce and much resist on paladins since they dont use stormshield. I dont like to make characters who is overpower since its boring. But i figured ount i might have to make one, just in case i will be pissed off on someone. I fell down on a FoH paladin. Any suggestion of how i shoud make him. THis is non-ladder. And how important is teleport abillity?
I considered:
Stats:
Strenght: 30 (diddent need to put 5 points snice i got anni)
Dex: leave at base
Vitality: all
Energy: 0
Skills:
20 FoH
20 Holy Shock
20 Holy Shield
20 Conviction (Maxing it because i dont wanna loose to another FoH paladin because of light resist problems. The highers conviction eliminates the other conviction.)

Griffons semi good with light die facet

HotO 38% (skill and resist. I want much resist)

HoZ Ber or Um?

9 5% resist all 7% mf (thats what i got)

i think what u got is good, but instead of hoto u need a superior scepter with 2 paly skills on it 5soc with light die facets in it, that helps out a whole lot.

Actually I think HOTO or Cresent Moon or 5 soc light die facet scepter is good~

jesus keitaro u got that belt? i want that belt. anyway i think teleport is extremely important but fcr probly isnt very important. if you want the greatest foh weapon i think the best is a rose-branded war sceptre with +3 to foh on it as base(gives +6 to foh in total, 3 from skills, 3 from foh) and then socketed try for 3 or so sockets so u can put 3 5/-5 light die jewels in it.

What would that kind of scepter be worth? And what about resists?
lets see,
30% anya quest
30% maras
20% bug belt
50% HoZ (still need to know about ber or um)
5%x9=45% small charms
175% wich makes me exactly have 75% resist in hell. Shoud i not try to get more resist maybe, or? Never mind, i put 1 point in salvation just in case.

you will have 28% dr after enigma+belt so maybe ber your hoz for 36% dr if you really need to. otherwise just um your hoz for more resist.

A +3foh +2convict 5os war scepter is best with all 5/5 light facets is best. They go for about 10-15hr+ without the facets. Not sure if its possible but a +2 pally skills +3foh scepter 5os is even better. Those would probably go for 20hr+ I imagine.

I have found a +3 foh 5os divine scepter w/ 5os. I think any other +skills would have to make it magical so it would be +1, 2, or 3 socs.

If u really need res...replace 1 pcombat with a 15res gc or 3 20/5s...
And its possible to get a 2pal 3foh 5os stick i believe....but pretty hard thats all

The main thing is hella +skills (at least to FOH) and as many 5/5 light facets as you can cram into the equipment. Beyond that the build is rather simple. Stand still and click.

If teleporting was not important, i would get an bugged tal armor. it has 2+ all skills, 40 all resist, 25% dmg reduce, 25% FRW and a few more addons. Only thing is that teleporting means i dont have to move wich also gives better blocking. This is really confusing me. I think ill stick with the HotO to start with, and change it if i get this sick foh weapon you all are talking about.
The magefist is there to give me enough FCR to reach one breakepoint. Ill have to consider how important this FCR really is. :/

i have a screenshot of after a really sick foh weapon im using on sp of course. it does +3 to combat skills 3 to foh 3 to conviction and 3 sockets with 3 5/5 light facets. after my total gear my dmg is 8.2-8.4k from foh without conviction of course. the items i use are:
helm: perf 5/5 griffon
ammy: perf maras
weapon: mentioned above
armor: bp enigma
shield: 5/5 light hoz
gloves: mages
belt: arach
rings: bk+p dex raven
boots: perf eth treks
switch: cta+spirit
inventory: anni+10 pcombat gcs. i think this might be the highest dmg foh can get. aside from me making up the energy stat, everything else is perfectly legit.

How do you max out your res? On ladder I'm not that rich so i'm going to try to get a
low griff. I have so Far:
Shako Um'd
32 Hoto (a 5os +3 foh stick is in my stash (Still working on getting facets)
Magefists
Travs
Arach
Pdiamond Hoz (My ber'd popped)
1 sojs, 1 cast ring (trying to get another soj or bk)
1375 Arch Nigma
+3 combat ammy (Working on getting a maras)
As soon as I have all my gear and ladder resets I think i'll have to remake, because I screwed my pally up. I'm lvl 80 and have barely 400 vit (407) and nothing close to having p res when I take my umd shako and hoto off. (I haven't done res quests yet though)

resists are mainly from: hoz(50), perf maras(30), perf eth treks(70 psn resist), my anni gives +50 to resist since i didnt want to do the three resist quests so my resists are at ( 130 to all after the 3 quests and items) and the rest resists come from +5 to all resist scs. of course, reaper, you can always find a 4 soc +45 resist pally shield and make spirit out of it so u can get hella resists (spirit gives like 45 cold light fire resist) so it would be like 45/90/90/90.

Nah, I like zak, I have a couple res charms. Do you need 10 pcombats to be decent in duels? I'm only using one now because I found one from mfing.

what you need is + % to light damage it adds alot more then + skills
you could change the enigma for 4x 20/-20 armor and hoz for 4x 20/-20 sheild because it basicly one hit kill anything with that kinda damage (on pvp)
