How to get past R-D's - pureblud - 08-07-2005 It just takes a few steps: This will only work if you are not using a router.. I Posted this a while back, but I'm thinking some people need this ![]() 1. Go to Start ---> run then type in "cmd" 2. In the command prompt type "ipconfig/release" 3. Go to Start ---> control pannel ---> network connections ---> then right click local area connection and click properties. 4. Now go to internet protocol (TCP/IP). 5. Then check the box that says "use the following IP address" Type in the box "10.1.1.1" click on subnet mask and it should default to "255.0.0.0" 6. Check the box that says "use the following dns server address" leave those 2 boxes blank and then hit ok. 7. Then press ok again on the local area connection properties. 8. Now follow steps 3-4 but this time, check the box that says "obtain ip address automatically". Also check the box that says "obtain DNS server automatically". Now press ok and BAM.
