hey guys i'm sorry to say this but it's not easymap that got your acct jacked or stolen or w/e.
your accounts were not stolen or anything.
they were banned by blizzard.
if you try to use password recovery... it's usually instant and you'd be on your acct in seconds.
but if you try now with your account that's been using Easymap it doesnt reply an email with a password in it so therefore it's actually not easymap stealin accounts.
many of you are gonna flame me i know but i'm gonna say this and i think people need to here it that...
1. there is a 95% chacne that you're acct was banned
2. 5% stolen
the reason i believe he didn't hack your accts is because 1000 accts were lost so quickly and at the same time.. so basically what i believe is that the easymap does what it does but it wasnt good enough to stay in the shadows of blizzard...
just try it for yourself and then flame

so it was blizzard and not easy map? that's a relief in a way but it still sucks. I don't think i'm gonna play diablo anymore. I had so much stuff and so many good characters and I don't want to start over from scratch. How do you guys know if it is easy map or blizzard or whatever? That really sucks. Thanx for the news tho.

if you still don't believe me try it for yourself
use password recovery... and reply to the email they send you
usually it's instant but a banned acct will not get a password recovery
and i tested this with the 3 accts that had with easymap used on it and they are all banned
i made a new acct and tried password recovery again and it worked instantly
so you tell me what's up..

It dosent matter what people say about EasyMap.. Just the name of it indicates its probably a Keylogger/Trojan/Etc... I dont like to download Foreign Programs.. I only Download MousePad's from HERE Only... Mostly because theyre cracked.. But back on Subject.. If the admins say it was a Keylogger or whatever it was, Theyre most likely right=D

i honestly don't think it was easy map......i think b.net did ban thousands of accounts......ppl are talking about a hotkeyshook.dll in their systems32 folder and that was what let easy map take your account, but i don't have that dll in mine and my account still got taken....so i honestly think it was b.net but i'm researching it at the moment
