Umm so I'm new to this game (my boyfriend got me into it). Anyway, I died in Act II after I had the Horadic Staff and everything put together, and when I came back everything was missing off my body except my gloves and what was left in my inventory. I tried going back to where I died but since I restarted I already picked up my corpse, but still nothing. Just wondering if this is normal or what I'm supposed to do about it? Again, I'm like brand new to this and I have no idea if this is a normal thing (though my bf said he's never heard of it happening either)

were u playing online in battle.net or on ur own computer, i didnt know girls played this game, also were u playing with someone else

i don't think there is anything else u can do but get the staff and the ammy again. sorry.

Here is how it works
only quest items can be lost if u pick an item up (i.e the viper ammy) then u get killed.
then the amulet will be on your corpse.
But, if u die and make another game then the amulet wont be on ur corpse
In different situations u can lose items if u pop/become an item fountain.
If you require an item such as Stormshield to put on before u can use gloves and armor, then your gloves in armor will appear in your inventory when u pick up your body. If there is no room in your inventory when u pickup your body you will pick up some items, but your corpse will still be on the ground so if someone kills u now, when u only have half your items, then the items in your inventory will drop to the ground. As the game doesnt support more then 2 bodies in this case.
heres how to stop getting popped.
1. have charms to give a particular stat so u can wear all your stuff when u pick up your body.
2. have permanent stats so you will always get your items back.
if someone says some of your items are on each corpse just go along with their stupid joke
