Blizzard got a kind of Cheating Protection. They use it against any kinds of 3rd programm software. They said that they would update it ever 2 weeks.:eek:
This would mean hard times for Cheaters, huh?

No, it's clientside.
Check mousepad's forums, it's called Warden..It's a clientside scanner that they can update without patching your game.

It does not scan your folder.
NOTHING scans your folder.
Only antivirus programs, scan your folder.
Warden checks the memory of the .exe/.dll's to see if anything has changed.

dont know how advanced warden is, but if they just search for invalid dll's loaded into the d2 process, you probably could just counter it with a stealth injector. Punk Buster (another anti cheat software) found a way to still detect programs hidden with a stealth injector so its not a sure thing that warden can't.
